The Gormsen Family: Superbowl 2011 - Green Bay vs Steelers

We had some friends over to watch the Superbowl. This year it was between the Green Bay Packers vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers...I picked the Packers to win..even though they are Chicago rivals...but guess what, my husband took my lead and we WON $$$!! Anyways, the guys watched the Superbowl...girls mostly chatted and ate, and the kids ran wild. Its getting easier and easier to hang out with our kids now a days..or at least this Sunday was. Since the kids are getting older they are starting to do their own thing. In my terms that means they are not bothering/pestering us as much. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. We had such a good time just sitting around and watching all of our kids personalities unfold...let me explain...

Ella was so pissed that her Mom went outside to grab a couple of bottled waters. .What a big Meanie Kelly!

Then there was Luke & Ellie...who we barely saw the whole night. At one point I noticed Luke rolling Ellie around the whole house in the large bucket..whatever makes them happy I guess.

Hey can I borrow your shoes?? Just a little inside joke..Ella had these adorable black Paten leather shoes on. Ella apparently borrowed them from Addie's closet and never gave them back..and now she rocks them out all the time. Note to self...never let Ella borrow anything. HA!
