Halloween 2009

We had a fun Halloween this year.  Every year holidays just get better and better as Luke understands them more.  In the weeks leading up to Halloween, I explained over and over and over what you do on Halloween and I even made sure to put some cartoons on that showed trick or treating.  Most of you remember what happend last year. Luke went up to one house, the owner of the house was dressed as a Star Wars Storm Trooper. Luke took one look at him, back peddled for a couple of steps and then ran all the way home and that was the end of of trick or treating.  This year he was great....we went out with the Ellie, Jacob & Peyton. Luke was a little hesitant at the Storm Troopers house, so Jess asked if he could take off his mask (which was a great idea)...so the kids would realize it was just a costume. It was cold out so the little ones only went to a couple of houses but the "big" kids Luke and Ellie did great. They made it almost around the whole block. 


After every house Luke would ask "can we go to the next house"  ..so cute.

Then everyone met up at our house for some dinner and drinks.
