Family from Italy

Last week we had some family visit from Italy for 3 weeks (My Dad's oldest brother lives in Sicily and has 3 sons Dominic, Sam & Christopher). One of the Son's - Sam, his wife and two children came to stay with my Aunt Antoinette and Uncle Louie. Since they were here for a long period of time, the family get-together rotated between all my Dad's siblings that live here.

Last week it was my parents turn to host dinner/cake & coffee for the out of towners and all the Aunts & Uncles, and whoever else was available stop by. Its nice to see people that are related to you that live in a completely different country. At times is was a little difficult because only my cousin Sam spoke English, his wife and kids did not so there was a lot of translating back and forth just to ask a simple question.

These are my cousins kids....or my second cousins (Sam & Bruce). Poor kids did not speak English so my brother brought over his Wii and they played that ALL NIGHT so they would have something to do.

Quick snapshot of the Dining Room. I could not get everyone in the picture but you get the point. My cousin from out of town is in the black and white stripped shirt and his wife is the blond next to him.

Basically it was a fun evening filled with lots Italian Food and Sweets (Thanks Mom). I did not spend too much time in this room - picture this.... everyone talking at once, hands up in the air moving all around and language that I could not understand. Thats how we do it!
